Denver, CO - The Furniture Street is about to open the first of its kind in the United States. Canadian developer Minto Communities has begun construction on the 6,900-inhabitant community, which is planned as a mixed-use area with a mix of residential, office, retail and office space. The $1.2 billion, 1,500-acre development is nearing completion and will house more than 2,000 residential units, as well as office and retail space.

Ivey's was bought by Dillard's in June 1990, followed by Belk and Lindsey's, and the chain was taken over by Maison Blanche after May Cohen changed her name to May in Florida in 1987. In late 1998, Fairfield, Ohio-based Mercantile Stores acquired the business and converted it into Gayfers. JCPenney also began building its first Florida store in the area, on the corner of Ivy and Main Streets, but was bought by Gay Fenders in 1998 along with its parent company Mercantsile.

The only shopping center nearby that also has a grocery store is Publix (pictured above). After Walgreens moved into the mall, its space was converted into an entrance to the mall, while the theater became a church on the facade.

Otherwise, there are many other shops where you can shop for a day - such as a grocery store, pharmacy and even a cinema.

The shopping center offers many activities to keep you busy and you can shop for everything from essentials to luxury goods. The 39-hectare Tangier shopping mall is part of a 235-hectare mixed-use development planned for the city of Daytona Beach, called Tomoka Town Center. The shopping center is located in the development area of Tomoka and has all kinds of shops and shopping facilities on your list.

The new center is scheduled to open on February 7, 2009, with shop hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. M. You might want to book a room at Fairfield Inn & Suites just outside the shopping center and end your day with a nice dinner.

Tangier Outlets is one of the best places to buy clothes and accessories that take you from the beach hijinks to the NASCAR race.
